Three representatives of the Faculty of Economics achieved significant success for their research work

At the end of November, the Portuguese town of Peniche hosted an international congress on tourism where three representatives of the Faculty of Economics achieved significant success for their research work.

The contribution elaborated by Viktor Vojtko, Petr Stumpf and Petr Janecek from the Department of Trade and Tourism was assessed as one of the four best ones under strong competition from more than 300 contributions by scientists from almost 30 countries.

These three scientists took part in the prestigious scientific meeting on tourism called International Tourism Congress in the seaside town of Peniche, close to Lisbon. Results of the research work presented during this two-day meeting were highly appreciated even by the professional committee which, at the end of the meeting, awarded the most interesting contributions. The research work of the Czech scientists was, together with two other contributions, awarded as „honorable mention“.
