6th Summer School — European Culture and Business Environment 2016

How would you like to study for one month right in the heart of Europe? Well, this summer school in the historic Czech city of České Budějovice may be just what you are looking for.

Not only will you be able to learn about what is special in terms of European culture and its business environment, but you will have the opportunity to make lots of new friends from many different nationalities and cultures in a relaxed setting away from the stresses of your normal student life. The city of Ceske Budejovice famous for beer brewing, with its numerous bars, cafes and ni-ghtclubs is the perfect place to spend an evening and to get to know more about each other.
Alongside academic lectures, there will be trips to local businesses, so that you can see how they operate and to find out about the difficulties that businesses face in practice. Furthermore, the highlight of the summer school is likely to be the planned extended trips to Prague and Vienna, Austria (UN Headquarters), where you will be able to broaden your experiences of European culture and business.
It sounds a lot of fun - and it is! However you will also learn, or develop further, skills in the areas of communication, team working and presentation and these transferable skills may just be what you need to give you a competitive edge when looking for a career start in the real world of work.
