Erasmus+ BIP Entrepreneurship through Sustainability Lens

In October 2024, 26 students from various corners of Europe – Sweden, Lithuania, Latvia, Bulgaria, Portugal, and the Czech Republic – gathered at the Faculty of Economics of the University of South Bohemia. As part of the Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme, they focused on the topic of entrepreneurship from a sustainability perspective.

Participants attended lectures and workshops on topics such as Design Thinking, marketing strategies focused on sustainability, and the impact of artificial intelligence on marketing. They also discussed the role of design in business and the economic forces shaping markets. Inspiration was drawn from real-life examples, such as the Bouda Burgers project, which demonstrates how businesses can be successful while being environmentally responsible.

In addition to the educational activities, the participants enjoyed an excursion to Český Krumlov, where they explored the beauty of Czech nature and culture. They visited the Krumlov Brewery, where the tour also highlighted entrepreneurship and sustainability. Through these activities, students expanded their skills and gained valuable practical knowledge that they can apply in their future careers.

The program took place at the Faculty of Economics, the BudeHub coworking center, and JVTP, all of which fostered a creative atmosphere and encouraged collaboration among students.

We believe that the entire project not only supported the theme of sustainable entrepreneurship but also strengthened international cooperation and mutual inspiration among young people from different countries.
